Beschreibung
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are Mönchsgrasmücke, Klappergrasmücke, Gartengrasmücke, Seidensänger, Baumfalke and Nachtigall. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of Reiherente, Schnatterente and Pfeifente and the odd Schellente.
