Beschreibung
The areas of Beech make up the main components of the SSSI but the other areas include Oak, Alder, Willow and some Ash areas and also wet flushes and open glades that make the area suitable for a wide range of species. Once you reach the top of the site you are into open moorland with the associated species including Feldlerche Wiesenpieper and occasional Merlin and Kornweihe. Other regular raptors on site include Turmfalke Rotmilan Wanderfalke and Mäusebussard . You can also look for Gartenrotschwanz, Grünspecht, Bergfink, Kuckuck and Trauerschnäpper.
