At Traeth Lafan during winter one can see Austernfischer, Großer Brachvogel, Rotschenkel, Alpenstrandläufer and Kiebitzregenpfeifer in large numbers. Also Zwergmöwe, Mittelsäger, Seidenreiher, Sumpfohreule, Merlin and Wanderfalke, Wiesenpieper and Strandpieper. Visit either side of high tide for best results (see link to the Tides table below).
