Beschreibung
When Walmore Common floods it is a sheltered spot for Singschwan, Zwergschwan, dabbling ducks, Kiebitz, Goldregenpfeifer, Großer Brachvogel, Alpenstrandläufer, Bekassine and Zwergschnepfe. There are Steinkauz, Waldkauz and Schleiereule in the area all year round. Sylvia and leaf warbers breed. Braunkehlchen and Wiesenschafstelze pass on migration. The Severn bore tidal wave can be viewed from the pub nearby.

Zugang
Located north of the A48 Chepstow to Gloucester road which is a regular bus route. Park near Chaxhill primary school and follow footpath nearby to view. Further access from Lower Ley. Park at T-junction shown and walk west for 3/4 mile.
