Tompkins Square Park looks like an average city park in New York, with many tall London Plane Trees, high numbers of introduced House Sparrow and Rock Pigeon (domestic), as well as many ornamental flowers. The cherry trees attract many species of warblers in spring, as well as birds that like to eat the buds.
