In winter there are flocks of Λευκοσκαλίδρα running along the sea’s edge, and one can be lucky enough to spot a Βαλτόμπουφος over the meadows. Χιονογερακίνα and Χειμωνόκιρκος can also be seen flying over the meadows, together with flocks of Twite and Χιονοτσίχλονο. Small flocks of Χιονάδα and a few Lapland Bunting appear now and then.
