Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος and Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια are seen throughout the year, often with Canada Goose and some Σταχτόχηνα. In winter, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια and Καπακλής are common, and sometimes (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι and even Ψαλίδα (του Βορά) are also seen.

Gravière Vogelau is located 8 km north of Strasbourg. From Strasbourg, take the road heading north towards Schiltigheim. You can park along the streets. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. Best to explore the area on foot.
