Description
Auenbiotop Großheubach has two small lakes with reedbelt close to the river Main. Walking 1-2 hours around the northern lake. Possibility to see waterfowl like Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, Σταχτόχηνα, Canada Goose and (Βουβός) Κύκνος. Big area of reeds and willows are breeding place for (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μικροτσικνιάς. Always good for some rarities like (Ευρασιατικός) Ήταυρος, waders or Μαυρογλάρονο.

Auenbiotop Großheubach is located close to the village of Großheubach. You can park with your car in the street in the east of the area, where you will always find a parking spot. Press P on the map for directions. The walking route indicated on the map is about 1,5 km.
