Description

Nature reserve Vorbergshügel is an old forest, mostly with beeches. Among the birds you can encounter in the forest are Μαύρος Δρυοκολάπτης, Μεσαίος Δρυοκολάπτης, Πευκοδρυοκολάπτης, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, Δεντροτσοπανάκος, Καμποδεντροβάτης, Αιγίθαλος and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κίσσα.

Access

Nature reserve Vorbergshügel is located 8 km north-west of Münster. Parking is possible on the "Vorbergs Hügel" road, from where hiking trails start to explore the various parts of the forest. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
