Beautiful walk where you can spot birds like (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος, (Βουβός) Κύκνος, Canada Goose, (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι, Λευκοσουσουράδα, Σταχτοσουσουράδα, Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Κοινή) Φαλαρίδα, Σταχτοτσικνιάς, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κίσσα, and Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης. Interesting point with is the Letzter Heller weir, where birds concentrate.

Access
The Werra River walk is located east of the town of Hann. Münden (Hannoversch Münden). You can park either at the weir or under the motorway bridge. Press P on the map for directions. The walking route shown on the map is about 2 km one way.
