Description

Otorongo Amazon River Lodge is a small rainforest lodge located about 100 km downstream from Iquitos on the Amazon River, surrounded by one of the largest remaining tracts of terra firme rainforest. Converging ecosystems, lowland flooded Forest/ Varzea, Terra firme, beaches and river Islands. Birds you can find include Leaden Antwren, Helmeted Pygmy-Tyrant, Black-headed Antbird, Horned Screamer, Undulated Tinamou, Great Potoo, Glittering-throated Emerald, Yellow-billed Tern, Hoatzin, Sunbittern, Spectacled Owl, Green-backed Trogon, Scarlet-crowned Barbet, Chestnut-eared Aracari, White-eared Jacamar and Red-bellied Macaw.
