Description
The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Αιγαιόγλαρος, Μαυροκέφαλος Γλάρος, Χειμωνογλάρονο, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσοκόρακας, and Σούλα (του Βορά). Some rarer species that can be seen are the Αρτέμης, Μύχος (της Μεσογείου) and Μύχος των Βαλεαρίδων. In winter Θαλασσοπρίστης has been seen several years.
In the reeds (Ευρωπαϊκό) Ψευταηδόνι, Καλαμοποταμίδα, Common Waxbill, (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, and Μαυροτσιροβάκος can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, Γελαδάρης, Σταχτοτσικνιάς and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Μαυρολαίμης, Λιβαδοκελάδα, Καρβουνιάρης, and Τσαλαπετεινός.

Cerca de la desembocadura de la Riera de Ribes se encuentra el Club de Golf Terramar, y sus greenes son buenos para observar aves como Μαυρολαίμης, Λιβαδοκελάδα, Καρβουνιάρης, y Τσαλαπετεινός.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
