Description

İshakkuşağı Sulak Çayırı is nice plain with a steppe area. There are some wetland birds like (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, Καλαμόκιρκος and also steppe birds like (Ευρωπαϊκή) Πετροτουρλίδα and others. Drought affected this place, however. But nice for a visit if you are in the area. (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, Χαβαρόνι, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκινέζι and many other birds can be seen in this place during the year.

Access

İshakkuşağı Sulak Çayırı is located between the cities of Ankara (180 km) and Konya (160 km), near the town of Küçükhasan. The area is far from public transport. So best to discover the place by car. Press P on the map for directions.
