Description
Dunkovytsia-Horbok fishpond and it's surroundings are an interesting place for birdwatching and especially good for seeing waders. Among the waders that are regularly seen here are Αργυροπούλι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, Αμμοσφυριχτής, Ποταμοσφυριχτής, (Ευρασιατική) Τουρλίδα, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Λιμόζα, Χαλικοκυλιστής, Μαχητής, Ραβδοσκαλίδρα, Λασποσκαλίδρα, (Κοινή) Νανοσκαλίδρα, (Κοινό) Μπεκατσίνι, Δρεπανοσκαλίδραand Λασπότρυγγας. But als other birds like herons, gulls, terns, grebes and ducks are easy to see and nice birds like (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα, Μαύρος Πελαργός and Πορφυροτσικνιάς.

The wetland is located between the villages of Dunkovytsia and Horbok. A circular route around the wetland is about 9 km. You can park along the banks of the wetland. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
