The estuary of the River Axe is full of coastal wading birds such as Θαλασσολιμόζα, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Στρειδοφάγος, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς and Κοκκινοσκέλης, a range of ducks including (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι and (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, and heathland birds like Δεντροφυλλοσκόπος, (Κοινή) Σιταρήθρα and Βραχοκιρκίνεζο.

Access
There is parking in Weston Super Mare, but it is best explored on foot. Also parking on the beach. Click on a P in the map to get directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 2,5 km.
