Description
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Ποταμογλάρονο, Χιονογλάρονο, Χειμωνογλάρονο and (Ευρωπαϊκό) Νανογλάρονο. Also Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος and occasional Μαυροκέφαλος Γλάρος. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as (Κοινή) Πουπουλόπαπια, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Μαυρόπαπια and Pink-footed Goose. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Διπλοκεφαλάς, Διπλοκελάδα, Κιτρινόφρυδος Φυλλοσκόπος and Γερακοτσιροβάκος. Σχοινοποταμίδα and Καλαμοποταμίδα in the reed beds.

Access
Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
