Description
Chimney Meadows is a 300 hectare reserve, partly an NNR. Typical wetland fauna including otter, water vole, dragonflies, Καλαμόκιρκος, all three egret species, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Νεροκοτσέλα, (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, Καλαμοποταμίδα, Σχοινοποταμίδα, Θαμνοτριλιστής, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Ψευταηδόνι, Ανθρωποπούλλι, Βαλτόμπουφος and Δεντρογέρακο. Also Μαυρολαίμης, Καστανολαίμης and Χρυσοτσίχλονο. Flowers include adders tongue fern, vernal grass, tufted vetch, lady's smock and cowslip.

Access
From Oxford take A420 west, after 18 miles go right towards Bampton, cross Tadpole bridge then right again to Chimney. For boaters, moor up near Shifford Lock.
