Description

Coate Water Country Park has the usual array of freshwater and woodland birds. Αργυροτσικνιάς, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη, Σχοινοποταμίδα, (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, Βραχοκιρκίνεζο, (Κοινό) Ξεφτέρι, Πευκοδρυοκολάπτης and Χρυσοβασιλίσκος.

Access

Leave M4 at junction 15, go north on A419 then left on A4259. The reserve is one mile on the left. From Swindon, head southeast on A4259. Nearest train station, Swindon, 3 miles.
