Description
Llandegla Forest is one of the few places in Wales to see Λυροπετεινός lekking. The RSPB have a hide and as of 2022, guided walks, see their website. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκό) Γιδοβύζι, Red Grouse, Λιβαδοκελάδα, Βαλτόμπουφος, Νανογέρακο, Μαυρολαίμης, Καστανολαίμης, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κούκος, (Κοινή) Τσίχλα, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, (Κοινή) Γερακίνα, Ψαλιδιάρης, Χειμωνόκιρκος and Σταχτοπετρόκλης.

8 miles west of Wrexham on the Ruthin road. Click on the P in the map for directions. Bus X51 runs hourly, Mon to Sat and 2-hourly Sundays from either town. Nearest train station, Wrexham.
