Lunan Bay has the best birding in autumn and winter when seabirds seek shelter here while auks, shearwaters, Σούλα (του Βορά), Northern Fulmar and skuas fly past the point. Winter visitors may include Χιονόπαπια, Βελουδόπαπια, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Μαυρόπαπια, Θαλασσοπρίστης, (Κοινή) Πουπουλόπαπια, Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι, Χειμωνοβουτηχτάρι, Μύχος and Sooty Shearwater. Rarities such as Sabine's Gull, Bonaparte's Gull and Δεντροσπουργίτης.
