Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for Πετρίτης, Λευκοχελίδονο, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια, (Κοινός) Φοινίκουρος and Σταχτοπετρόκλης. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding Κοκκινοσκέλης, Κιτρινοσουσουράδα, Σταχτοσουσουράδα, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Νεροκότσυφας, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, Ακτίτης and water voles. Possibility of Βουνοσφυριχτής in autumn and Χιονοτσίχλονο in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
