Waders and wildfowl spend winter in Northampton Washlands in large numbers. Especially (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βροχοπούλι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, (Βουβός) Κύκνος, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια, Γκισάρι egrets and others.
