Description
Pegwell Bay is considered a nature reserve of international importance as it is home to a range of seashore birds and wildlife found nowhere else in East Kent. Lots of rare and common birds including: Καλαμόκιρκος, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα, (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, (Κοινό) Φανέτο, Λασποσκαλίδρα, Βαρβάρα, Κοκκινοπέρδικα, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αβοκέτα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι. And occasionally Τσαλαπετεινός and Διπλοκεφαλάς.

Access
You can park in the car park (click on the P in the map to go there directly) where there is also a cafe and toilets and the best way to explore the area is by foot. There is a bird hide, which is accessible for disabled visitors.
