The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding Common Guillemot, Razorbill, Northern Fulmar, Τριδάκτυλος Γλάρος, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσοκόρακας and perhaps Πετρίτης or Κοκκινοκαλιακούδα.
