From the hides (one is two-storey) at Stanwick Lakes one can see Ποταμογλάρονο, Ανθρωποπούλλι, Γελαδάρης, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, winter wildfowl such as Καπακλής, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, Ψαλίδα (του Βορά) and Γκισάρι. The woods and scrubland have Μαυρολαίμης, warblers, Κοκκινότσιχλα, Κεδρότσιχλα, Τσακρίλλι and (Κοινό) Λούγαρο.

Stanwick lakes is between Kettering and Bedford. It is 300 yards west of the A45 Stanwick roundabout. Click on the P in the map for directions. Parking charge is £3.80 for all day
