Description

Summer Leys is an important winter refuge for (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, Καπακλής, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βροχοπούλι, Χηνοπρίστης, gulls, (Κοινό) Μπεκατσίνι, (Ευρασιατική) Μπεκάτσα and the scrapes are a stopover for migrant Σιγλίγουρος and other waders. There is a breeding colony of Ποταμογλάρονο.
