Descripción
Hearsons Cove is a picturesque, sheltered bay on the World Heritage Listed Burrup Peninsula. It's a popular spot for swimming, fishing, and picnics, with amenities - BBQs, toilets, and shelters, offering calm waters at high tide and expansive mudflats perfect for exploration at low tide, accessible via a sealed road.
The mudflats are an important feeding ground for good numbers of trans-equatorial migratory waders including Bar-tailed Godwit, Grey-tailed Tattler, Great Knot and Red-necked Stint and hold a selection of other coastal dependent birdlife.
