Descripción
Jardin Encantado, the “Enchanted Garden”, may well be the smallest of all locations listed on Birdingplaces. It consists of nothing more than the owner’s backyard, located right next to a non-descript house in a equally non-descript neighborhood. What makes it special are the tens of hummingbird feeders hanging above it, which the lady makes sure to fill regularly.
The garden regularly attracts more than 25 different hummingbird species, among them Black-throated Mango, Blue-chinned Sapphire, Purple-throated Woodstar, Rufous-tailed Hummingbird, White-vented Violetear, Ruby-topaz Hummingbird, and White-vented Plumeleteer. There are other frequent visitors, such as Saffron Finch and Bananaquit, to name but a few.
