Descripción
Nordhavnstippen mainly consists of two lakes and surrounding meadows, bushes, and reedbeds. The surrouding habitat is home to Reyezuelo Sencillo, Chochín Común, Pinzón Vulgar etc. In the lakes, it is common to encounter wintering Porrón Moñudo, Silbón Europeo, and Ánade friso etc. Other winter visitors include Escribano Nival and Pardillo Norteño, while in the summer it welcomes Alondra Común and Somormujo Cuellirrojo. Out in the sea, Cormorán Grande and Éider común are common, and with a bit of luck, you can also spot feeding Alcatraz Atlántico. During migration, the strait next to Nordhavstippen is a busy flyway, offering chances to see species like Águila Pescadora and Grulla Común.

Nordhavnstippen is located in Copenhagen, in outer Nordhavn neighbourhood. The closest metro stop is Orientkaj (M4). Count another 30 minutes of walking from this metro stop (1). The much nearer bus stop (2) Færgehavn Nord (Kattegatvej) is served by Line 164. From this bus stop, you can reach Nordhavnstippen in 10 minutes on foot. The most convinient way to reach this area is by bike.
