Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site that is transformed into a natural reserve and recreational area. In winter, it is easy to observe many Porrón Moñudo and Porrón Europeo. There are also many Gaviota Reidora and Gaviota Patiamarilla. In summer, there are only Cisne Vulgar, Focha Común and Somormujo Lavanco and a few Zampullín Común.

There's a large parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 2 km.
