Descripción
Kochebi Lake is a remnant of the Caspian Sea located on 800 meters above sea level. It is a shallow lake of brackish water, surrounded by meadows, fields and a small forest. More than 150 bird species have been observed in the area. Birds you can observe include Tarro Canelo, Cigüeñuela común, Chorlitejo Chico, Andarríos Chico, Andarríos Grande, Andarríos Bastardo, Combatiente, Zampullín Cuellinegro, Abejaruco Europeo, Carraca Europea, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Calandria Común, Escribano Cabecinegro, Escribano Triguero, Gorrión Chillón, Busardo Moro, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Aguilucho pálido and Aguilucho Cenizo.

Kochebi Lake is located about 4 km east of Dedoplitzskaro and is best accessed by car or bicycle. There is an unpaved road in the west and north of the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
