Descripción
Böhmerweiher consists of two lakes. The smaller lake supports Zampullín Común, Gallineta Común and Focha Común. Cerceta Común overwinter here. The larger lake often attracts visiting waterfowl in the winter: Ánsar común, Ánade friso, Somormujo Lavanco, more rarely Silbón Europeo, Tarro Blanco or Serreta Grande. Martín Pescador Común fish in both ponds.
In the gravel areas and streams surrounding the lakes Escribano Cerillo and Mosquitero Musical sing from the bushes. Pito Real feed on the ants. Rascón Europeo skulks on the banks. Carricero Común and Escribano Palustre populate the reeds in the spring and summer. Occasional visitors like the Abubilla común can surprise you by stopping to rest during their migration.
Agachadiza común sometimes forage in the wet fields surrounding Böhmerweiher. And sometimes Halcón Peregrino hunt for prey.
