Descripción
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. Ostrero Euroasiático, Zarapito Real, Garza Real and Archibebe Común are all likely on the beach around the waterline. Vuelvepiedras Común, Corneja Cenicienta and Lavandera pía may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. Graja is also possible. Cormorán Moñudo is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although Cormorán Grande is becoming more common in recent times. Gaviota Reidora is common with occasional Gaviota Cabecinegra. Éider común and Ánade azulón are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where Bisbita Costero, Tarabilla común and Chova Piquirroja could be encountered.
