Gyodongdo Island (교동도) sits off the northwest coast of Incheon, connected to Ganghwado by the Gyodong Bridge, which means you can drive straight onto the island. The island is one of the northernmost parts of South Korea, with a number of geese and birds of prey wintering. During winter, you can observe various winter migrant birds including Greater White-fronted Goose, Tundra Bean Goose, White-tailed Eagle, Eurasian Black Vulture, Steppe Eagle, Imperial Eagle, and Upland Buzzard.

Gyodongdo Island sits off the northwest coast of Incheon. The island is accessible by car. It is a large area so exploring on foot is not recommended. The circular route shown on the map is about 25 km. Since it is located near the border with North Korea, you need an ID card to visit.
