The walk along the beach North of El Cotillo is varying between rocky lava fields and small bays with white sand. Here Garceta Común and Correlimos Tridáctilo can be seen, but also Vuelvepiedras Común and Chorlitejo patinegro.
A bit further in inland (see map) is breeding ground for Alcaraván Común, along the road and path you can see Camachuelo Trompetero, Curruca Tomillera, Bisbita Caminero and Terrera marismeña. In the area also Alimoche Común and Halcón Peregrino can be seen.
According to ebird Pardela cenicienta mediterránea / Pardela cenicienta and Rabijunco Etéreo has been seen.
