Balıkdamı is a river bed site. A water regulation system on the river makes this area like a flooded land which is under control. This place is a suitable area for birds in the dry landscape of Central Anatolia . So, you can see wetland birds and steppe birds in this habitat complex. For example Águila Imperial Oriental, Ganga Ortega, Alcaraván Común, Pato Colorado, Flamenco Común, Ánsar común, Tarro Canelo, Garcilla Bueyera and Canastera Común.
