Florya Atatürk Ormanı is a beautiful green area located in the Florya neighborhood in Istanbul. This forested area was established in 1937 by the order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The park can be very busy, but is nice for some relaxed birding and you have a good chance to spot Pico Sirio, Tórtola Senegalesa, Abubilla común, Zarcero Pálido, Cotorra Alejandrina, Cotorra de Kramer and Serín Verdecillo. Especially during migration nice birds can turn up like Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Papamoscas Gris, Papamoscas Papirrojo, Papamoscas Cerrojillo, Colirrojo Real and Curruca Zarcerilla.
