Descripción
Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Búho Campestre population occurs. Also, the wintering Ánsar careto flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Grulla Damisela breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Alcaraván Común can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Chorlitejo Chico, Pigargo Europeo, Codorniz Común, Porrón Pardo, Porrón Europeo and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Barnacla Cariblanca which is the second record for Turkey. Búho Real can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
