Descripción
When flooded in winter the Ashleworth Ham area attracts large flocks of Cerceta Común, Silbón Europeo, Ánade rabudo norteño, Cuchara Común, Porrón Europeo, plovers and other waders. Large flocks of Zorzal Real and Zorzal Alirrojo possible. Birds of prey follow the flocks. Sensitive breeding site for Agachadiza común, Avefría Europea, warblers, Lavandera Boyera and Escribano Palustre, therefore no walking trail, but hide and viewing screen provide comprehensive overview. Floodwater can occasionally cover roads in the area completely, take care not to be cut off by rising waters.
