Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of Silbón Europeo, Cerceta Común and Cuchara Común in winter, amongst smaller numbers of Porrón Osculado. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding Archibebe Común, Ostrero Euroasiático and Chorlitejo Chico in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of Carricero Común, Carricerín Común and Cetia Ruiseñor, Cuco Común and Rascón Europeo. Alcotán Europeo are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included Correlimos Falcinelo and Correlimos Pectoral, Falaropo Picogrueso, Torcecuello Euroasiático and Alcaudón Común.

Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
