Brookmill's habitat is actively managed to provide the best conditions for species that are harder to spot elsewhere in London, including Martín Pescador Común, Garceta Común, Curruca Capirotada and Reyezuelo Sencillo. The pond is very peaceful and particularly pretty in spring, with a very loud dawn chorus. Ganso del Nilo, Pato Mandarín and Garza Real also feed there.
