Descripción
Broom Lakes are former gravel pits that have become a nice habitat with pools and wet meadows that are interesting for many water birds and waders. When you walk around Broom Lakes you can - depending on the season - see good numbers of duck, including Tarro Blanco, Cerceta Común, Silbón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Ánade friso and Ánade azulón. Both Somormujo Lavanco and Zampullín Común are often seen. Other birds that can be seen here include Charrán Común, Chorlitejo Chico, Chorlitejo Grande, Ostrero Euroasiático, Avefría Europea, Archibebe Común, Serreta Grande, Escribano Palustre, Escribano Cerillo, Milano Real, Busardo ratonero and Cernícalo vulgar.
