Descripción
Chafford Gorges is a beautiful nature reserve set in amongst a new build housing estate, with lakes overlooked by a huge white ravine. A network of pathways take you around lakes, meadows and woodland. Among the birds that you can expect to see are Martín Pescador Común, Pico Picapinos, Pito Real, Avión Zapador, Cuchara Común, Porrón Moñudo, Zampullín Común, Gavilán Común, Carricerín Común, Carricero Común, Curruca Capirotada, Jilguero Europeo and Cetia Ruiseñor. In winter, the gorges are visited by birds such as Jilguero Lúgano, Pardillo Alpino and Porrón Europeo.

The park is within walking distance of Chafford Hundred railway station. When you choose to arrive by car there is a free car park on site. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
