Descripción
Corsham Park was designed and landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in 1761. The park, just on the Eastern edge of the town of Corsham has a large lake on it's Eastern edge. BE AWARE whilst a lot of the park has free access, even though the park is privately owned, the Northern side of the lake and Eastern wooded areas are strictly private (Press STARS on map). Birds include Barnacla canadiense grande, Porrón Osculado, Cuchara Común, Silbón Europeo, Cerceta Común, Ánade friso, Porrón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Ánade azulón and Focha Común are regularly seen. Serreta Grande use the lake as a night time roost during Winter, arriving at sunset and departing at sunrise to local rivers. The site is one of those places that is always worth visiting if you are in the area. Fumarel Común and Porrón Acollarado are on the sites list and a friendly female Serreta Capuchona was discovered many years ago.
BE AWARE Livestock may be present on site.
