Descripción
Stone Point offers a good vantage point over the River Colne with species such as Serreta Mediana flying in and out of the Estuary. In the bushes and muddy areas you can find Tarabilla común, Escribano Palustre and Bisbita Costero during the winter and if you are lucky Escribano Nival. The saltmarsh and beach are good places to watch Barnacla Carinegra, Correlimos Tridáctilo, Correlimos Gordo, Correlimos Común, Chorlitejo Grande, Archibebe Común, Avoceta Común, Zarapito Real, Chorlito Gris, Aguja Colinegra and Aguja Colipinta at close range during the winter. The area can be busy with visitors so early or late visits can be productive.
