Descripción
The east bank of Findhorn Bay provides the best birding with easy parking, a bus service and a bird hide. Look for waders and sea ducks such as Zarapito Trinador, Correlimos Menudo, Correlimos Tridáctilo, Ostrero Euroasiático, Negrón común, Pato Havelda, Tarro Blanco, Porrón Osculado and Serreta Mediana.

Roadside parking in Findhorn village and elsewhere. Regular bus to and from Findhorn village, Nearest train station is at Nairn. Note the saltmarsh on the south side is unsafe for walking except on recognised pathways.

Birding on Findhorn Bay is very dependant on the tide, with the best times usually 2-3 hours either side of low tide. However, even at higher water there are still some areas that are good particularly where the waders are roosting. See a link to the tides table below.
