Descripción
Frenchman's Rocks is a useful seawatch point in late summer and early autumn, best when a SW or NW wind is blowing. Best views are from the hill next to Wavegen Power Station, called Rubha na Faing on the Ordnance Survey map. There is a car park at Claddach near Currie Sands beach.
Birds to see are Porrón Bastardo, Negrón común, Colimbo Grande, Colimbo Ártico, Colimbo Chico, Pardela Sombría, Pardela Pichoneta, Pardela Balear, Paíño Boreal, Págalo Grande, Págalo Pomarino, Págalo Parásito, Charrán ártico, Gaviota de Sabine, Gaviota Tridáctila, Aguja Colipinta, Bisbita Costero, Vuelvepiedras Común and Correlimos Oscuro.
