Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Charrancito Común and some Charrán Patinegro and Charrán Común. Several wader species, Cernícalo vulgar, Lechuza Común, Negrón común, Alondra Común and Pardillo Común. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Escribano Palustre, Carricero Común, Agateador Euroasiático, Lavandera Cascadeña, Papamoscas Gris, Jilguero Lúgano and Rascón Europeo. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
