Descripción
Around the Fish Quay in Hartlepool gulls hang around, especially on the roof. Often joined in winter by Gaviota Groenlandesa and Gavión Hiperbóreo. In the harbour entrance Éider común, Colimbo Chico, Colimbo Grande and Arao Común can often be seen. Sea watching by the lighthouse can produce a large variety of gulls, ducks, auks, terns, skua’s and shearwaters at various times of the year. The rocks along side the promenade are home to Correlimos Oscuro, Ostrero Euroasiático and Vuelvepiedras Común that winter in Hartlepool bay.
