Descripción
Knettishall has a variety of habitats, including heathland, woods and a river. Several of the most typical birds of the Suffolk Brecks can be found here, including Alondra Totovía and Chocha Perdiz. Chotacabras Europeo can be heard on summer nights and may breed. Five species of owls have been recorded on the reserve, with Lechuza Común and Cárabo Común the species you are most likely to encounter. Martín Pescador Común are recorded regularly along the river, the Little Ouse. Ponies (mainly Exmoors) are used to manage the site.

Knettishall is close to Thetford, where the headquarters of the BTO are based. There is plenty of parking, but no links to public transport. Though always a delightful place to walk, birds can, sometimes, be difficult to find. There are many trails to follow the 8 km circular walk shown on the map is just a suggestions. It is easy to make it longer or shorter. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
